CREED ‘LES FLORALIES’ DEBUTS DECEMBER ’08

The new fragrance Les Floralies, created by sixth-generation master perfumer
Oliver CREED and his son, Erwin, takes us to a tea house on the private grounds
of Japan’s Imperial Palace in Tokyo, where the royal tea ceremony fascinate
distinguished guests. Les Floralies honors the tea ritual, called chanoyu
(茶の湯, lit. "tea hot-water") or also chadō or sadō (茶道, "the way of tea")
in Japanese.  This time honored ceremony, with its roots in Zen Buddhism, has
been practiced for centuries as a way to preserve harmony and tranquility.

Les Floralies is redolent with notes of rose, chrysanthemum, Japanese tea and
fragrant blooms:

Top Notes: Chrysanthemum leaves of the Asian star magnolia.

Middle Note: Jasmine; Japanese tea; Asian lilac.

Bottom Note: Bulgarian rose; plum blossom.

CREED Les Floralies evokes the Imperial Tea House surrounded by blooming
flowers and trees --  brings to life the words of the Eighteenth-century Japanese poet
(and best loved of the haiku masters), who used the simple pen name Issa :

“Wrapped in the scent
of plum blossoms…little house.”

Les Floralies is offered in a shatterproof 1.7-ounce atomizer wrapped in green
leather that is reminiscent of the lush greenery of the Royal Palace grounds.  The
atomizer is etched with CREED’s royal crest.  Perfectly sized for aircraft carry-on as
you get away this Holiday season!  An 8.4 ounce flacon will also be available.

Les Floralies will be available in the USA at select Saks Fifth Avenue Doors December '08
